The WAGA councils have made significant reductions in their greenhouse gas emissions over the last five years. Savings measured so far amount to 32,427 tonnes of CO2-e on average per annum. This offsets emissions generated by 4,194 households.
The report below provides details of the emissions reductions achievements as well as the WAGA councils’ greenhouse targets, plans for the future and programs undertaken to reduce their corporate emissions and encourage the community to take action.
