Hobsons Bay launches Environmental Upgrade Agreements to help businesses

Hobsons Bay City Council is one of the first local governments in Victoria outside the City of Melbourne to offer Environmental Upgrade Agreements (EUAs) to its local businesses.

EUAs are designed to make it easier for businesses to upgrade their premises – saving money and improving their environmental performance. Building owners can increase the value of their asset, and tenants can enjoy cost savings and better working conditions.

Solar panels, energy efficient lighting and a large range of other measures may be included in upgrade projects.

The council is offering the service in partnership with the Sustainable Melbourne Fund. Interested businesses in Hobsons Bay are invited to apply now.
